Google has expanded access to its cutting-edge Veo 3 AI video generation technology, making it available to select Google Workspace customers starting July 29, 2025. This enterprise rollout comes approximately two months after the technology was first showcased at Google I/O 2025 in May.
Veo 3 represents a significant advancement in AI-generated video capabilities, distinguished by its ability to create not just visuals but also synchronized audio. Users will experience realistic physics and accurate lip syncing, with the AI automatically generating appropriate environmental sounds like traffic noise in city scenes, birds singing in parks, and even dialogue between characters.
The technology offers creative flexibility for business users, allowing them to animate everyday objects, bring drawings to life, or add movement to static images. Enterprise and education users are limited to 3 daily generations, while those with the Google AI Ultra for Business add-on receive 5 daily uses. The interface displays a warning when users approach their limit.
The rollout is currently underway for both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. The feature is available to customers using the Gemini app with Google Workspace Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, and those with Gemini Business and Education add-ons. Currently, Veo 3 is only accessible via web browsers and the Gemini mobile app, and is restricted to users 18 and older.
In addition to the Gemini app integration, teams can also generate video clips with Veo 3 in Google Vids, the company's video creation assistant. Google Vids access was recently expanded to include Google Workspace Business Starter and Enterprise Starter customers. The integration allows users to create high-quality video clips with realistic sound simply by typing a prompt, making it easier to produce content like safety training videos or spokesperson appearances in specific locations.
Veo 3 has been praised for its best-in-class quality, excelling in physics simulation, realism, and adherence to user prompts. The technology stands out from competitors by combining video with perfectly synchronized audio, a feature few other AI video generators currently offer.
As enterprise adoption of generative AI accelerates, this release positions Google to compete more effectively in the rapidly evolving AI video generation market while making advanced content creation tools accessible to business professionals without specialized technical skills.
