First unveiled at Google I/O 2025 in May, Imagen 4 Ultra represents a substantial advancement over its predecessor. The model excels at rendering intricate details like fabric textures, water droplets, and animal fur with remarkable clarity. Users have noted significant improvements in both photorealistic and abstract image styles, with the model capable of generating images at resolutions up to 2K.
One of Imagen 4 Ultra's most notable improvements addresses a longstanding challenge in AI image generation: text rendering.
