Dailymotion has officially launched its comprehensive AI-driven video platform, marking a significant evolution in the company's 20-year history as a video sharing service.
The platform's core technology builds upon Dailymotion's May 2025 acquisition of Archery Inc., the company behind Mojo, a popular AI-assisted video creation app downloaded over 50 million times. This strategic acquisition has enabled Dailymotion to integrate Mojo's intuitive AI features—including brand kit customization, background removal, and animated effects—directly into its ecosystem.
"With Mojo, we add an essential cornerstone to our offer," explained Guillaume Clément, CEO of Dailymotion. "Our ambition is clear: offer creators and brands the best tools to create, distribute and monetize their videos, in total autonomy."
The new platform focuses on three key pillars: distribution through a global network reaching 400 million monthly active users; monetization via proprietary technology helping publishers maximize revenue; and creation through AI-powered tools and templates. Dailymotion Pro clients and advertisers will benefit from these AI-based creative solutions, gaining access to intuitive tools that enable faster content production with increased personalization and performance.
The platform also introduces several innovative features, including "Automatic Recommendations," an AI-driven system that generates refined video selections optimized for monetization, engagement, or view performance. Another notable addition is "Contextual video matching," which automatically finds suitable videos to illustrate articles based on their URL, title, and content—creating new monetization opportunities for publishers.
As a French company operating in an industry dominated by American and Chinese tech giants, Dailymotion positions this launch as Europe's principled alternative to existing social video platforms. "It is essential that Europe can offer alternatives—not out of opposition, but out of ambition," Clément stated. "It's about offering users and creators a space where their voices can be heard, where quality takes precedence over algorithms, and where innovation serves creativity."
