Seedance 2.0 AI Video Generator — Now With Scene-by-Scene Assembly

Generate clips with ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 model, then let Spellzi chain them into one continuous film — same characters, same style, scene after scene.

How It Works

1

Describe Your Story

Start in Spellzi's StoryChat, or bring your own script — either way, you begin with the idea, not a blank timeline.

2

Spellzi Generates Each Scene

Spellzi splits your story into scenes and generates each one with your choice of video engine — Seedance 2.0 is the recommended default, with a project-wide Fast mode to trade some quality for speed and lower cost.

3

Keep Characters Consistent

Upload reference images once, and Spellzi carries the same character's face and look through every scene rendered — no re-describing them from scratch each time.

4

Review, Extend, Export

Review and regenerate anything that's off, add more scenes if the story needs them, then export — Spellzi stitches the finished clips into one continuous video.

What Spellzi Adds to Seedance

What Is Seedance 2.0?

Seedance is ByteDance's video generation model, accessed by Spellzi through BytePlus's official ModelArk API. Spellzi integrates Seedance 2.0 in three quality modes — Standard (best quality, up to native 4K), Fast (480p/720p, quicker), and Mini (480p/720p, lowest cost). Every generation call produces one clip, 4 to 15 seconds long — a ceiling set by ByteDance's own API, not by Spellzi. Seedance 2.0 supports seven aspect ratio options, including an adaptive mode that lets the model pick the best fit for your prompt.

Scene-by-Scene Assembly, Not Just One Clip

Seedance on its own hands you one clip at a time. Spellzi's StoryChat layer sits on top and turns that into a full production pipeline: describe your story, and Spellzi breaks it into scenes and keeps track of every clip as your film comes together. The result is a workflow built around Seedance, not a replacement for it.

No Fixed Length Ceiling — You Control the Scene Count

Each Seedance clip is capped at a few seconds by design — that's true wherever Seedance runs, and no platform changes it. Spellzi's assembly step builds up to 75 scenes in a single pass, and you can keep adding more scenes after that with no cap found on your final film's length. Your total runtime is bounded only by how many scenes you choose to create — not by a single unbounded generation call, which doesn't exist for Seedance or any platform running it.

Is Seedance 2.5 Supported? Being Honest About It

ByteDance announced Seedance 2.5 in June 2026 — native 4K in a single pass, longer single-clip generation, and expanded reference support. As of today it's in closed enterprise beta and not generally available; Spellzi doesn't have it integrated yet, and we won't claim otherwise. What's live today, working, and priced is Seedance 2.0 across all three quality modes. We'll evaluate 2.5 for integration once it's generally available and stable.

Pricing: Usage-Based, Not a Flat Rate

A Seedance generation's cost depends on resolution, duration, aspect ratio, quality mode, and whether you're attaching a reference video — a 4K Standard clip and a 480p Mini clip aren't priced the same, and there isn't one flat number that would be honest to print here. Spellzi prices by usage: you see the estimated cost before you generate, based on what you've actually chosen. Check the pricing page for current rates.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Seedance 2.0?

Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's video generation model, accessed by Spellzi through BytePlus's official ModelArk API. It's available on Spellzi in three quality modes — Standard, Fast, and Mini — for image-to-video and text-to-video generation up to native 4K resolution on Standard mode.

Is Seedance 2.5 available on Spellzi?

Not yet. ByteDance announced Seedance 2.5 in June 2026, but it's currently in closed enterprise beta, not generally available. Seedance 2.0 is what's live and working on Spellzi today, through BytePlus's official ModelArk API — we'll evaluate 2.5 once it ships broadly and proves stable.

How can Spellzi offer films with no fixed length limit if each Seedance clip is only a few seconds?

Because the limit lives at the clip level, not the movie level. Seedance itself only ever renders one clip at a time, capped at 4-15 seconds by ByteDance's own API — that's true everywhere Seedance runs, including here. Spellzi's assembly layer works around that by generating as many scenes as your story needs and stitching them into one file, so your finished movie's total runtime isn't capped by that per-clip limit — only by how many scenes you choose to create.

How much does it cost to generate a video with Seedance on Spellzi?

It's usage-based, priced by resolution, duration, aspect ratio, and quality mode (Standard/Fast/Mini) rather than one flat number — a short 480p Mini clip and a 4K Standard clip don't cost the same. Check the pricing page for current rates before you generate.

What's the difference between using Seedance directly and using Spellzi?

Seedance is a model, not a workflow. On its own, it generates a single clip from a prompt or reference image, up to 15 seconds. Spellzi adds a scene-by-scene assembly layer around that model: story breakdown, per-scene generation, cross-scene character consistency via reference images, and final stitching — turning individual Seedance clips into one continuous film.

What resolutions and aspect ratios does Seedance 2.0 support on Spellzi?

Standard mode supports 480p, 720p, 1080p, and native 4K; Fast and Mini modes are capped at 480p/720p for quicker, cheaper generations. All three modes support seven aspect ratio options: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 21:9, and an adaptive mode that lets the model choose the best fit.

Can I keep the same character consistent across multiple scenes?

Yes. Upload reference images of a character once, and Spellzi carries them through every scene generated for that story, keeping faces and appearance consistent across the film. Spellzi supports up to 9 reference images per generation, plus reference video and audio inputs, using Seedance 2.0's multimodal reference capability.

Turn Your First Scene Into a Full Film

Seedance generates the clip. Spellzi turns it into a movie — scene by scene, with the same characters throughout.
