Character reference sheet of the giant squid (Architeuthis dux) for a children's animated series. Image 1 shows how it looks in our series: keep exactly its deep red-brown colour, skin texture, rendering style and the dim blue-black twilight water. Image 2 is our girl character (avatar in a diving suit, 125 cm tall) for scale.
Correct anatomy, follow exactly: a long torpedo-shaped mantle with two small fins at the tip; a huge eye about the size of a dinner plate; EIGHT shorter arms with suckers; PLUS TWO extra-long feeding tentacles, about twice as long as the arms, thin along their length with wider club-shaped ends carrying the suckers, so the two tentacles make up most of the total length; total length about 13 m.
Layout: (1) full side view showing mantle, eight arms and the two long tentacles with clubs, a tiny 125 cm diver silhouette nearby for scale; (2) close-up of the head with the huge eye and arms; (3) close-up of one tentacle club with suckers. Clean sheet, no text, no labels.
