A large-scale abstract composition of broad undulating bands sweeping
vertically across the surface, like slow water currents or wind over
sand. The bands vary in width — some thick and dominant, others
narrowing to a thread — and they bend around one another without ever
touching. The repeat is tall and vertical, roughly one full wave cycle
per image height.
Painted in close muted tones: warm greige, pale clay and soft bone,
each band a slightly different value, all within a narrow range. Very
low contrast overall. The paint is applied with a wide dry brush,
leaving visible streaks along the length of each band, softer where
the brush lifted. Fine uncoated paper grain across the ground.
Flat rendering with no volume, no cast shadows, no gradient behind
the bands.
The design must tile seamlessly: any band touching an edge continues
exactly onto the opposite edge, with no interrupted shapes and no
empty margin. Even visual weight across the whole square, no
clustering, no border.
No perspective, no lighting gradients, no vignette, no wall, no room,
no mockup, no frame, no text, no watermark.
